There´s the Navy Pier with the ferris wheel. Look at that vast Lake Michigan! It seems more like a sea... Boat tours take place along the river unveiling facts about the city's architecture. Surely a great way to discover the city when the weather is more pleasant. Ali está o Navy Pier com a roda gigante! Olha só a dimensao do lago Michigan! Parece um mar... Há passeios de barco nos quais se fica a conhecer factos sobre a arquitectura da cidade. Uma optima atracao em tempos mais "ensolarados" ;) It was once the fastest growing city and the largest railroad center in the world; it was here where Abraham Lincoln was elected for the US presidency in 1860; it was the territory of Al Capone´s Empire of "Chicago Outfit"; the city of blues and dance; scenario of famous movies like "Shall we dance"; where the once tallest building in the world Sears Tower is situated (a title it held for almost 25 years) and still is the second tallest building of the US... Chicago is a diamond of the North of the United States and it was my latest longhaul destination. Along with Ernest and Omar, policemen in charge for the security of our flight deck crew, and my cabin crew colleagues Nicole, Rafael and Denise I spent wonderful hours in this great city, tasting its culinary offers. The temperatures were even colder than in Switzerland, it actually snowed, but it wasn't a reason to stay in the hotel room. Browse through the pictures below to learn more about this locality!

I'd rather have a passport full of stamps than a house full of stuff. Forever a discoverer
The bad news is time flies. Go check out the amazing photography website of my friend Nicole, who is also a flight attendant!
